Director of Music & Worship Arts
Stacie Alexander came to Pleasant Grove Baptist as the Director of Music and Worship Arts in March of 2004. She formerly served in a variety of music positions at Northside Baptist Church, Bio Baptist Church, Bethany Baptist Church and Elberton Pentecostal Church. Stacie began her piano study at age eight and began playing in church at the age of twelve. In 2002 Stacie received a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree in 2002 from Emmanuel College. While at Emmanuel, she served as the accompanist for the chorale and many vocal and instrumental students. In addition to her full time position at Pleasant Grove, she and her husband Shane are the proud parents of Chloe, age 5, Jackson, age 3, and Charlie, 2 years old. Their days are both joyful and chaotic. Stacie says “Our greatest joy is to laugh!” Her one desire is to lead the congregation of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in experiencing true and pure corporate worship each week.
