John E. Todd accepted the Lord’s call to ministry and was ordained on September 15, 2002. Born into the firm foundation of a Christian home, John accepted Jesus Christ as his person Lord and Savior on August 3, 1997. Since coming to the Lord, John never missed any opportunity to witness and minister to his fellow co-workers. He now is taking correspondence classes through the Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies. John joined Pleasant Grove in September of 2001. He became an irreplaceable servant of God in the area of teaching, visitation, and counseling, short-term missionary work and other ministry opportunities. John was recently married to the former Teresa Harris who teaches school in Elbert County.
John now is the full-time Singles Minister at Pleasant Grove, called the “365 Ministry” and also serves as campus minister for the Baptist Student Union at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. His vision for the “365 Ministry” is that God will work powerfully in their lives to bring them to a point of Christian maturity that will enable them to specifically serve the Lord with a variety of contemporary ministry works.
