
Pastor of Education
Billy Britt has been the associate pastor since 2007. He graduated from Dacula High School, in Dacula, GA., and then got his bachelors degree from Shorter University in Rome, Ga. He proceeded from college to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he got his Master’s degree and pastored his first church from 1977-1979. After Seminary,
Billy went to Dykes Creek Baptist church in Rome, Ga where he completed his doctoral degree from Luther Rice University in Atlanta, Ga. He left Dykes Creek and went to Ebenenzer Baptist church in his home town of Dacula. He pastored there until January 1986 when he went on staff at Hebron Baptist church where he stayed for 20 years total.
He left Hebron in 1998 and was the specialist of the Sunday school department of the Georgia Baptist Convention. In 2,000 he returned to Hebron where he stayed until 2007. Billy’s first wife Kathy died of cancer in 1996. He is married to Joyce Kerlin Britt. Between them they have 4 sons and 8 grandchildren.
